Biography

Three years at No. 1, and still the pair to beat

Galán broke through on the World Padel Tour with Juan Cruz Belluati in 2017, then joined Juan Lebrón in 2019. The Spanish pair were world No. 1 in 2020, 2021 and 2022, before Tapia and Coello took the top spot in 2023.

Since March 2024 he has played with Argentina's Federico Chingotto. In 2026 the pair have won seven titles — Gijón, Miami, Giza, Asunción, Buenos Aires, Pretoria and the Madrid P1 in front of a home crowd — and reached the finals of the Rome and Paris Majors. Galán's defence and his lob are the foundation; the adidas Metalbone is the racket.
